Haguruka NGO is a Non-Governmental Organization established on 16th July 1991 and agreed by the Ministerial Order n°127/05 on 28th of December 1991. Haguruka has the mission to defend the rights of women and children using international and national legal frameworks and policies.
In partnership with Giz Rwanda, Haguruka is implementing a project entitled “Prevention and Response to Teenage Pregnancies”. The project will be implemented in Kayonza District. One of the key activities of the project is conduct a study on the readiness of the community to prevent and respond to the problem of teenage pregnancy in Rwanda. This falls under Haguruka’s core mission to advocate for women and children.
This study will examine the attitudes and behaviors of different categories of influential people in the community toward teenage pregnancy, as well as their level of engagement in addressing it. The study will generate suggestions on how to better address the issue of teenage pregnancy, and will provide recommendations to various stakeholders. To assist with this, Haguruka is recruiting a professional consultant to conduct a study on "the Readiness of the Community to Prevent and Respond to the Problem of Teenage Pregnancy in Rwanda".
